“The Song of the Light” (Part 2) may be performed as a standalone item, suitable for use in the service of compline. For performance of the complete work, the choir should be able to divide into two smaller choirs, with a semi-chorus (SSATB) drawn from these choirs. The alto soloist may also be in the semi-chorus.
