Pfrancing (No Blues) Full Score

An outstanding arrangement of the Miles Davis standard from the pen of John La Barbera. Kicked off with the head stated in the piano, the arrangement develops with an effective blend of antiphonal and ensemble writing. Solo changes for Trumpet, and the piano solo offers a transcription of Wynton Kelly's original solo. Lead Trumpet plays high C (C# and D opt.). Lead Trombone plays high Ab.
