Shipping policy
Where your order ships from
We do not keep a warehouse of our own. Every order ships directly from the publisher or its distributor. Most of our titles are published by Hal Leonard and ship from its distribution center in Winona, Minnesota. Titles from other publishers ship from that publisher.
When it ships
Because your order ships from the publisher rather than from a shop's own stock, it can take a day or two longer to leave than you may be used to.
Some titles are printed only when you order, or are between print runs. They take about 5 to 7 weeks to arrive, and the product page tells you so before you buy.
If a title sells out before your order ships, we email you within one business day. You can wait for it, or cancel it for a full refund.
More than one package
If your order includes titles from more than one publisher, or a title that is printed to order, it may arrive in more than one package. We email you each time a package ships, with a tracking link when the carrier provides one.
What shipping costs
Shipping is charged by the total weight of your order, at close to what the publisher charges us to send it. You see the charge at checkout, before you pay.

A single songbook weighs under 1 lb, and ten choral octavos weigh about 1 lb.
How it ships
Orders ship by USPS, or by UPS when you choose it. At checkout you choose Standard (USPS), priced by the table above; USPS Priority Mail, which is faster; or UPS Next Day Air Saver, the fastest. Priority Mail and Next Day Air Saver are priced at checkout for your address and order, and you see the expected delivery dates for all three before you pay. Faster shipping speeds the journey, not the day or two the publisher takes to pack your order, or a title printed to order; a next-day choice reaches you about three business days after you order.
Where we ship
We ship to addresses in the 50 states and Washington, DC, including PO boxes and military APO, FPO and DPO addresses. We do not ship outside the United States.
If something goes wrong
Please check your shipping address at checkout. If it needs changing, email us straight away; once the publisher has shipped the order, we cannot change it.
If your package has not arrived, or tracking says it was delivered and you cannot find it, email us and we will work with the publisher and the carrier to put it right. If it arrives damaged, our Refund policy covers it.
