Praise the Lord, All Nations!

For a festival gathering of singers, this would be an amazing choice. After a neoclassic introduction, the main theme sounds with sacred vigor. Pure energy carries the sequential tune through a series of praiseworthy acclamations, “O praise the Lord, all nations. Praise the Lord, all people.” A contrasting middle section featuring “Tallis' Canon” is a delightful surprise, bringing texture and a noble quality to crown this fine work. Joyful!
