Sparrows and Lilies

Delicate and fragile, this musical parable from scripture reminds us to trust God in every situation. The musical style suggests a folk ballad, using unison singing for lyrical clarity and simple four-part writing to add a deeper expressive element. The guitar-like piano support gives the anthem a pleasant, unpretentious ambience.
