Clari-Go-Round

You can reward your clarinet section's dedication with this easy feature piece. The simple but engaging soli part has a song-like quality that's easy for young players to grasp and interpret. The band parts are adroitly managed to make sure your “stars” shine through. The contrast of very easy slurs in the clarinets helps to keep your performance engaging. Like all of Mike Hannickel's young band pieces, this one carries the indelible stamp of practicality that comes from four decades of directing beginning groups. Nice!
