The Smoothing Iron is an enjoyable choral romp through a young lad's sighs and palpitations, observing his lady-love as she sorts, washes, dries, folds, irons, airs... and eventually wears her “linens!” Originally written for treble voices, this arrangement is certainly suitable for males. (4:20)
