Dream, For Solo Clarinet

“Contemporary clarinetist and composer, Serge Dangain has been a prominent pioneer of modern music on the Clarinet. His Dream for solo Clarinet provides a fitting introduction to modern repertoire. Dangain, born in 1947, has won many prizes for his performances and compositions. Published in 1985, Dream addresses extended techniques of the Clarinet, including half tones, flutter tonguing, and varied articulation. A helpful key is included in order to explain performance directions and symbols. With a typical performance lasting around three minutes, Dangain's Dream provides a brilliant introduction to modern repertoire, suitable for advanced clarinetists.”
