Snare System, 20 Studies For Snare Drum (volume 2)

“With very few studies exisiting for the Snare Drum, 20 Studies for Snare Drum fills a very large gap. Professional percussionist, Frédéric Macarez compiles the studies with a wealth of experience. Many of Macarez''s studies are inspired by symphonic repertoire while others are influenced by rhythmical difficulties synonymous with the instrument. Still others prepare the performer for less conventional uses of the instrument. Focus in the second volume of 20 Studies for Snare Drum is given to the systematic study of individual technical problems, inspired by symphonic repertoire. Macarez''s compilation, 20 Studies for Snare Drum is essential to the technical progression of advanced Snare Drum players.”
