Sid The Serpent Who Wanted To Sing

Sid The Serpent Who Wanted to Sing, Malcolm Fox's first opera for children, was commissioned in 1977. Sid, the story of a snake from the circus who strikes out on his own to make it as a singer, was an immediate hit with audiences and critics alike, and is now one of the most widely performed operas in the U.S. and Australia. Scored for SATB, Piano and optional Drum-set backing.
